Despite receiving her degree certificate in June, Heather finally graduated with a distinction from the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) last weekend.

She was also awarded the Technical Report Prize for her technical design and sustainability evaluation of her final thesis project. This was a retrofit education centre set in Machynlleth, CAT's nearest town, and has prompted the Town Council to liaise with CAT and evaluate how they can make the town more sustainable for the future.
